Strength training with DC personal trainers

Our Washington DC personal trainers are focused on YOU.
Our role as strength coaches is to provide organization to an otherwise very overwhelming process. When you tell us what YOUR goals, YOUR priorities, and YOUR needs are, we develop a program tailored to those specifics. Then you just have to show up, be coached, and start getting stronger. You may be a former athlete or you may have never lifted a weight in your life — the starting point is always the same: show us where you’re at, explain to us where you want to be, and we will plan out the rest for you.

We train beginners. athletes. grandparents. those new to the city. DC-natives. those trying to avoid injury. those trying to recover from injury. those who want to build strength. those who are looking to age more gracefully.
Who do we train? Beginners, athletes, grandparents, new professionals in the city, siblings, spouses, those trying to avoid injury, those recovering from injury, people who want to build strength, those interested in making aging easier, peri and post menopausal, and everyone in between.
It is so important to us that strength training and foundational nutrition is made to feel accessible and implementable for everyone. You don’t need to be or do anything special in order to start implementing practices that make living day to day…easier.
Think of strength training as preventative maintenance for your body. Our goal is to keep you safe, prevent injury, get you stronger, and keep you capable.

About Bryan Crossley, MS
Owner and personal trainer at DC Strength & Nutrition
I grew up in Williamsport, PA (home of the Little League World Series!) where I played baseball and was involved in fitness from a very young age. It was from this background that my passion for strength training developed.
Prior to earning a Masters Degree in Kinesiology, I played Division 1 baseball at Coppin State University. During this experience, I realized that having a foundation based in strength was essential. It became evident to me that my passion and priority for strength training was granting me the ability to remain injury-free and reach my absolute potential. This principle applies to all of us.
Maybe, for you, it’s not baseball. Maybe it’s playing with your kids, standing up from the floor without struggle, or just a general ability to move more freely. That’s what I am here to help you with.
My goal is to provide you with the foundation that your body requires to be strong. From this strength comes your ability to move. From this movement, you enjoy a life that is as comfortable and injury-free as possible.
