Reader, we talk all the time about gut health and muscle health. BUT WHY?

I’m oversimplifying it here but in a nutshell, this is why:

Gut Health

70% of your immune health resides in the gut.

Autoimmunity is tied to the gut.

Brain health is connected to the gut.

This is why we focus on gut health.

Muscle Health

Muscle is the largest organ in the body (not skin).

Muscle is an endocrine organ and informs very other part of your health.

We know that as we age, the more muscle we have, the less brain atrophy occurs.

This is why we focus on muscle health.

Here are 2 things you can do now to focus on both gut and muscle health:

Eat your ideal body weight in protein.

If you need a starting point, aim for at least 30 g in the first and last meals. No less than 100 g in a day.

Get 25-30 g of fiber every day.

If you need a starting point, try just adding in:

  • 1 apple for 5 g
  • half cup blackberries for 4 g
  • 1 sweet potato with skin for 5 g

Bryan and I focus on these aspects both personally and with our clients in everything we do. And I’ll tell you what, we make it easy.

We would never do it otherwise.

If it’s not feeling easy to you, let’s start asking questions about WHY and create clear solutions so you have a “mix and match” structure to use over and over again for yourself.

It doesn’t need to be hard. When it is, it’s usually not going to be too long term.
